Farming in the Hudson Valley attracts so many different kinds of people; no one size fits all. That’s part of the charm of living here. We are happy to support all kinds of farms: CSA’s, wholesalers, direct-to-market sellers and value-added artisans producing highly idiosyncratic products. Thanks to the continued hard work and careful land conservation efforts of our local farmers, we lucky locals can purchase an unusually wide variety of fruits and vegetables grown almost literally in our backyards. That is something to treasure.
